The BMWi presents: #Masterpieces. In our series, we present the trade of the master screed layer. Finn Olbermann was the youngest German #master of this craft in 2014. A screed layer processes insulation materials, insulates floor slabs and lays screeds. Finn Olbermann believes that the reintroduction of compulsory master craftsmanship is important because master craftsmen and women need a broad range of expertise to ensure the quality of their work.
